Nguyen Quang Trung - Founder of Trung Bicycle Rental & Tour
Nguyen Quang Trung is part of Hanoi's first generation of professional training and competition cyclists. His many achievements in the Vietnamese professional cycling system include third place of the 1st National Television Cup in 1989.
In 2000, Trung became coach of the Hanoi cycling team, as well as refereeing domestic and international cycling competitions. He continues to compete in recreation tournaments.
Trung lives according to the principle that:
“LIFE IS LIKE RIDING A BICYCLE - ALWAYS KEEP YOUR BALANCE"
This passion for bicycles allowed Trung to become the first person to train bicycle tour guides for travel companies such as Exotissimo, Buffalo and Intrepid. On behalf of those companies, he also surveyed beautiful, safe and suitable routes for each customer.
Since 2000, he has provided additional bicycle rental services for travel companies nationwide. Trung’s range of bikes include mountain bikes, road bikes, children’s bicycles, saddle hook carts and, most recently, electric bicycles.
By 2022, Trung’s store has more than 400 high-end sports bikes for rent, such as Giant and Trek, and more than 60 electric bicycles. The store is considered to be the store with the largest variety and number of bicycles for rent in Vietnam.
In 2000, To meet the growing demand for bicycle tourism, he launched a service providing bicycle rentals for travel companies nationwide (including mountain bikes, road bikes, touring bikes, children's bikes, saddle-post bikes and especially electric-assisted bikes, which are developing to help the weak ride with the strong, overcome high passes and long distances). Upto now, his shop has more than 400 bicycles of all kinds, 60 electric-assisted bikes, and accompanying accessories. His shop is considered to have the largest number of bicycles for rent in Vietnam.
